To insert numbered or bullet lists

A 'numered' list looks like this:

1. First line
2. Second line
3. Third line

A 'bullet' list looks like this:

• First line
• Second line
• Third line

To create a numbered list

First select (highlight) the text you want to make into a list.

The click the 'Numbered List' icon

Your list will look like:

1. First line
2. Second line
3. Third line

Select the text again and click the 'Bullet List' icon

and your list will look like:

• First line
• Second line
• Third line
